About
My name is Jody Williams
Hello, my name is Jody Williams and I want to welcome you to Coastal Paints! My lifelong passion for paint horses began while visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia, on the beaches where the famous Chincoteague Ponies roamed. We learned the pony's names, their individual story and got to know them by their unique and beautiful markings. My love of horses turned into a childhood full of weekend horseshows which continued until leaving for college and later beginning my own family. I returned to the equine world when my daughter discovered her love for horses and I spent the next 20 years standing ringside mimicking each movement she made. Now, at 55, it was time to return to my own dreams and I established Coastal Paints, starting with one broodmare in foal and I’m excited to share that I’ve welcomed five beautiful foals so far. My goal is to continue producing high-quality, good-minded registered Paint Horses, introducing them to daily hand-on training until they are ready to find their perfect partners in the show world.
